A record number of poor people queued up on Christmas day to get free food in the center of Budapest. Meanwhile, the government has redefined the statistical categories in order to be able to communicate that there is almost no poverty left in Hungary.
 
 

A short film inspired by director Béla Tarr, about a massive crowd queuing for free food on the day of Christmas in Budapest. The almost one-shot steadycam visual showing the faces is contrasted to sound bites of Hungarian politicians, who are claiming that poverty is disappearing in the country.
